A consignment store is a type of resale shop that displays goods for a percentage of the sale price. In this retail model, people bring in items and get paid a certain amount after the merchandise sells.

We accept:

• Women’s clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories.
• Moderate to better branded clothing - think Nordstroms, Macys, Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, WH/BM, Talbots, etc. 
• We love trendy, fun, classy, vintage, or extraordinary but it needs to be wearable and not too fragile. 
• All items must be in excellent condition, free of missing buttons, rips, holes, missing gems, tears, stains, pet hair, odors, etc.
• We do NOT accept Target, Walmart, Forever 21 and similar lower priced clothing unless they are new with tags.
• Luxury handbags require proof of purchase - NO EXCEPTIONS
• If you have any items that you are unsure if we will accept, feel free to give us a call and we can discuss them! 

We accept moderate to better branded clothing - think Nordstroms, Macys, Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, White House Black Market, Talbots, Chicos, etc. 

We will price your consigned items based on the current market, condition, and demand. Automatic markdowns may be applied up to 40% off at any point of the 60-day contract, however our main priority is getting you the best price for your consigned items. 

In the event your items do not sell within the contract period, you will either come pick up the items and take them back home with you or we they will be donated to the store. This choice will be made upon contract signing. If you chose to donate any unsold items, we will either mark them down to a very low sale or donate them to various charity organizations that are in need. Among the shelters we donate to include the Ozanam Family Shelter in Edison, which provides shelter for 16 single women and 26 families and includes temporary housing and emergency lodging, meals, assistance with employment and children’s educational placement, etc. and Women Aware who since 1981 has been providing much needed services to domestic abuse victims across a wide spectrum of client needs.

Upon completion of your contract term, we will issue you a check for your sold items. You can either come on in and pick it up, or we can mail it to you!

Yes! Please make an appointment with us by shooting us a call or emailing us at crowandteapot@gmail.comso that we can schedule a time to have you drop off your clothing and sign a contract with us.

Yes! Our system allows us to provide consignors with an app called Ricochet Go that can be downloaded on your smartphone where you can track your inventory you have with us, your active inventory value, your products sold, and the sold product value. You can call or email us directly from the app, see your expiration dates of your various items you’re consigning with us, and see your payout history. We will provide a tutorial video and your username and password (which you can change upon login) in an email. Alternatively, if you don’t wish to use the app, you can also just log in directly via the internet. 

Please be mindful, we have a strict no returns policy.  All sales are final. 

We do have a sales rack, and there will occasionally be events where we will have discounted items. The best way to be aware of these events will be through our social media pages or our email list. We have Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok and our handle is the same for all - @crowandteapot

We are constantly updating our inventory on a daily basis! That’s just one of the great things about consignment shops, you never know what treasures you may find from one day to the next.
